Our Verdict
I recently tested the 6W Silver Aluminum COB outdoor light to see if it could handle the elements while elevating my porch's aesthetic. This wall sconce is a compact yet powerful piece of hardware that aims to provide both functional illumination and a modern architectural look.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction is impressively sturdy, utilizing high-quality silver aluminum that feels much more substantial than typical plastic outdoor lights. Because it is IP65 rated, I found it perfectly capable of shrugging off heavy rain and dust without any flickering or performance degradation. The COB chip technology provides a consistent, clean light spread that effectively highlights vertical surfaces.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, the light requires absolutely zero maintenance to keep it looking sharp. It provides a crisp, focused beam that adds an immediate sense of security and style to the home exterior after dark. There is virtually no learning curve here; you simply wire it up, mount it, and enjoy the reliable glow.
This light is ideal for homeowners looking for a durable, modern, and affordable way to brighten up their porch or entryway without worrying about rust or water damage.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am awarding this wall sconce a perfect 5/5 rating for its combination of durability, design, and performance. For $39.00, it is hard to find a better balance of reliability and curb appeal for your 2026 outdoor renovation projects.
